Our life in Southeast Asia: Our Trip to Treasure Island

Aubrie loves Dora, like most two year old girls, so when we told her that we were going to an island for vacation, she immediately thought of Dora's trip to Treasure Island. The whole trip she kept telling us, "We're at Treasure Island!" Living where we live, we are privileged to have access to so many beautiful beaches. So since it was time for another trip to Thailand, we thought we would join another family to enjoy a great beach vacation.

We started off by loading all our luggage onto a speed boat that took us right up to the beach in front of our hotel. Aubrie loved the boat ride, as you can see by the smile on her face.

I don't think there was anything about our trip that Aubrie did not enjoy. She loved playing in the sand, playing in the water, and playing with her friends. The water was so blue and there were practically no waves, so it was perfect for our little fish.

Our little Katie-bug was sick most of our trip, so she spent most of the time with her mommy in the shade. She did fall asleep one day in her daddy's arms out in the water.

After we took the next picture, I realized how tan Aubrie can get. You would never think we were related if you looked at us. I have to say I am a little bit jealous.
