Top 10 Stateside Photos

Well as we prepare to return back overseas today we wanted to take some time to post some pictures from some of our favorite moments over the last five and half months.  We thought we would do a top ten list of our favorite pictures and the memories that they represent.  So in no particular order, here we go:

1.  This is one of the first pictures we took after returning home.  Elliott's family had driven down to see us and we were all so tired and jet-lagged.  Aunt Maggie was meeting Aubrie for the first time and she woke up early to play with her.  After a few hours they were both just exhausted.  I love how this shows how quickly Aubrie was able to warm up to all her aunts and uncles.

2.  This next picture is just a reminder of how extremely cold we were during most of our stateside time.

 3.  This is my favorite picture of Aubrie from her 2nd Birthday party.  She is so happy with her Dora cell phone.  She loves to call Dora for little chats.

 4.  Since we were in the states, I insisted that we all had to wear Green for St. Patrick's Day.

5.  One of our favorite places to go and visit while we were in the states was Quick Trip.  We could have spent hours just walking around inside looking at all the fountain drink options.  We would take little mini-dates and just walk around Quick Trip.  We had to take a picture to remember our fun times there.

6.  We discovered during our time in the states, that our little Aubrie is fearless.  Here she is going down the Big Slide at the park.  We noticed later that there was a sign that read that this area was for 5-12 year olds.  I love how you can see Elliott in the corner sprinting around to catch her before she reached the bottom.

7. This picture sums up how much our little Katie-bug has grown in the past five months.  When we came to the states, she was just a 10 week old little newborn baby.  Here she is with two little teeth, sitting up and eating baby food.  I love those little dimples and that sweet little smile.

8.  Every time we got together as a big family, we would attempt to take a family photo.  As many of you know, with little ones, it is almost impossible to get a good picture of everyone.  In this picture we decided to just all close our eyes and play a joke on Dan.  I love how serious my mom is about shutting her eyes for the picture.  Notice how Aubrie is actually smiling for this picture.

9.  We had so much fun with Elliott's parents, Mom Mom and Pop Pop.  This was a great picture of them with the girls during their last day visiting with us.

10.  And number ten has to be this great sunny picture of the girls.  I also really love them in this same pose in their blue outfits, but I already posted that picture in the previous post.
